Terms of Use
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Meray Technologies website and the Modernization Assessment request process. They are separate from the contractual terms of a paid Modernization Assessment or modernization project, which are set out in a separate proposal, scope of work, or service agreement.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Meray Technologies’s website at meraysolutions.com (the “website”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Website Purpose
The website provides information about Meray Technologies, industrial equipment modernization, controls engineering, PLC modernization, control-panel modernization, and Modernization Assessments.
Website content is general information. It does not constitute engineering advice for a specific machine, facility, process, or application.
3. Modernization Assessment Requests
Submitting the assessment form is a request for Meray Technologies to review the opportunity. Submitting a request does not:
- create an engineer-client relationship;
- create a contract;
- guarantee that Meray Technologies will accept the project;
- constitute an engineering recommendation; or
- constitute a quote or fixed price.
A project begins only after Meray Technologies and the customer agree to an appropriate written scope, pricing, responsibilities, and other applicable commercial terms.
4. Equipment and Engineering Information
Users may submit information such as:
- equipment descriptions;
- machine photos and videos;
- nameplates;
- electrical drawings;
- manuals;
- PLC/HMI information;
- control-system information;
- documentation; and
- other technical files.
Users must only submit information they are authorized to provide.
5. Confidential and Proprietary Information
Meray Technologies recognizes that industrial documentation may contain sensitive or proprietary information. We use information submitted through the website to evaluate and respond to your request and to provide related services.
Submitting information through the website does not, by itself, establish a non-disclosure agreement. If your information is subject to confidentiality restrictions or is highly sensitive, you should execute an NDA or other written confidentiality agreement with Meray Technologies before submitting it.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the materials and technical information you submit. Submission grants Meray Technologies the limited right necessary to review, process, store, and use those materials to evaluate your request and provide the services you request.
Meray Technologies retains ownership of its website content, branding, methodologies, templates, software, documentation formats, and other Meray Technologies intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Project-specific intellectual-property ownership is governed by the applicable proposal or service agreement, not by these website Terms.
7. No Engineering Reliance
Website articles, examples, diagrams, case studies, descriptions, modernization comparisons, and other general content must not be relied upon to modify, operate, repair, troubleshoot, or determine the safety of industrial equipment. Machine-specific recommendations require appropriate engineering evaluation.
8. Safety
Industrial machinery and electrical and control systems can present serious hazards. Nothing on the website should be interpreted as authorization or instruction to bypass safety systems, modify machinery, energize equipment, perform electrical work, or make controls changes without appropriately qualified personnel and applicable safety procedures.
9. Modernization Outcomes
An aging machine does not automatically warrant modernization. A Modernization Assessment may result in a recommendation to:
- KEEP the equipment as-is;
- MODERNIZE it;
- SELL it; or
- REPLACE it.
Meray Technologies does not guarantee that modernization will be technically or economically appropriate for every machine.
10. Estimates and Business Outcomes
Any references to cost savings, reduced capital expenditure, downtime, useful-life extension, production improvements, schedules, or modernization costs are illustrative unless specifically included in a written project agreement. Actual results depend on the equipment, facility, operating conditions, project scope, customer responsibilities, component availability, and other factors.
11. Third-Party Manufacturers
References to manufacturers or platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Omron, Mitsubishi, or equipment OEMs are descriptive only. They do not imply that Meray Technologies is endorsed, certified, sponsored, or authorized by any manufacturer unless a specific relationship is separately stated and can be substantiated.
12. Case Studies
Case studies describe actual categories of work performed by Meray Technologies. Certain identifying customer, facility, equipment, or project details may be omitted for confidentiality. Results from one project do not guarantee the same results for another.
13. Prohibited Use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, upload malware or malicious files, submit information you do not have authority to disclose, interfere with the website, or use the website unlawfully.
14. Third-Party Links
The website may link to third-party websites or resources. Meray Technologies is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and its informational content are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. General website information is distinct from engineering services provided under a written agreement, which are governed by that agreement.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Meray Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its general informational content. These website Terms are not a substitute for the project-specific engineering liability provisions that appear in a customer’s written agreement.
17. Privacy
Information submitted through the website is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
18. Changes to These Terms
Meray Technologies may update these Terms periodically. Material updates are reflected by changing the “Last updated” date shown near the top of this page.
